Join Conservancy scientists in the Lurie Garden on August 18 for a chance to see and learn about the wide variety of native and non-native pollinators that thrive right here in Illinois. The walk will take place mid-day, when insects tend to be most active. We’ll be on the look-out for various types of bees, wasps, butterflies, beetles and other species. Dress appropriately for the weather, including a hat and sunscreen. Short-range binoculars might be helpful. Children are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.
