David Baum (Co-Developer of Green Exchange) is a leading figure in Chicago's real estate development and retail leasing communities. Since co-founding Baum Development, LLC in 1989 and Baum Realty Group, LLC in 1991 with his brother Douglas, David has cultivated the business from a two-person start-up company into an award-winning commercial and residential development firm and Chicago's leading retail brokerage firm.

Doug Baum (Co-Developer of Green Exchange) is the co-founder of Baum Development, LLC, a company that has received seven Chicago Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Awards and a Preservation Excellence Award from the City of Chicago for work in adaptive reuse and historic preservation. Douglas has successfully led Baum in the development of more than 80 residential, retail, office and mixed-use developments throughout the Chicago area and the Western United States.

Phil Baugh (Director of Community Development) joined Baum Realty Group in 2005 bringing ten years of experience to his position. He leads his team in actively recruiting green businesses and organizations that fit the criteria for the Green Exchange sustainable business community. Phil is a founding member of the Chicago Sustainable Business Alliance and also plays an active role in a variety of Chicago’s green organizations including the Social Venture Network and Net Impact.

Joan Dahlquist (Project Manager) joined Baum Development in 2002. She plays an integral role in all aspects of Baum's real estate development including architectural planning, zoning, construction, operations and tenant relations.

Lizzie Kaplan (Project Manager) joined Baum Development in 2005 and plays an active role in all areas of real estate development including finance, zoning, operations and marketing.

Talia Lissner, Esq. (General Counsel) oversees all legal aspects of acquisition, disposition, office and retail leasing, financing, equity investments and corporate governance for Baum Development.

Jennifer Schellinger (Marketing & Public Relations Director) is responsible for generating interest and excitement about the variety of projects underway at Baum Development and Baum Realty Group. She works closely with local and national media to keep them informed of the latest news and is also responsible for event planning and development of marketing materials.

Dan Cox (Marketing Consultant) is the Founder of Greater Than, a green marketing firm that was created to help do-gooders do greater. He is actively involved in supporting the marketing efforts surrounding Green Exchange and instrumental in the development of the greenexchange.com website.

Matt Lenzini (Director of Construction Services) brings over 20 years of experience to Baum Development where he oversees residential, commercial and retail projects. He manages the strategic planning of each construction project focusing on budgets, sequencing, schedules and site conditions.

Matt Wesley (Project Manager) joined Baum Development in 2006 and is involved with architectural planning, construction, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) planning and tracking, tenant relations and product sourcing. Matt is a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of the US Green Building Council.

Ted Petrowsky (Project Superintendent) joined Baum Development in 2007 as Green Exchange began its construction phase. Ted brings 16 years of experience to his role and is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction including maintaining the development schedule and managing all subcontractor operations.
